School's out. Summer is officially here. And our vibrant patio is in full swing! So, we are here to get your summer vibe started.

The next few months are PACKED!

Join us for lots of fun both in the shop and on the road!

May gets started with a Sunday Supper - style.

Then we have our Mom's Day Brunch for Mom and Mom-figures.

The next week is a double header. We hit the road for Charlestown for Whiskey and Cheese followed by a night arranging bouquets and charcuterie cups with .alacarte.

On June 4th we celebrate National Cheese and Wine day in the only way we know how - with cheese and wine, of course.

June 20th we will be closed because we are taking this cheese shop on the road for the Cheese Fest in Barre, MA.

We close things out with another Grand Tasting on June 28th.

Why hello, Pawlet. How are you?

We are so happy saved this beautiful cheese from being a footnote in the annal of American cheese.

Pawlet nearly went extinct when the makers at Consider the Bardwell retired. Then, along came Kate Leach who not only bought the original creamery, she found the original cheesemakers, Leslie Tyminsky to relaunch this cheese.

Not only is that a great bit of history, this is a GREAT cheese. It's made in the style of a washed-rind Italian Toma. The paste is rich and buttery with some notes of dandelion and sage grass. The rind is brothy with just a hint of funky yumminess.

We think she's a easy snacker, but she also melts beautifully. Now hear us out here, shave off a few slices on your next margarita pizza and you will be in heaven.

Sometimes, you just need a bit of perspective.

It's a rainy, gray Memorial Day. Yeah, that might put a damper on plans for the long weekend.

But you know what, today is all about perspective. As someone with family who have served and family who are currently serving, I'm taking a few moments today to say thank you and remember those we've lost.

In the aftermath of the Civil War, citizens gathered to decorate the graves of the fallen. It was originally called Decoration Day.

As historian explains, this is a day about preserving democracy and reflecting on the ordinary lives of people who have fought for freedom.

May your day be filled with perspective, reflection and love.
