Thorns and Acorns We are a family owned farm selling produce, fresh eggs, free-range poultry and seasoned fire wood. We are the Caswells, proud owners of Thorns & Acorns Farm.

We love what we do and are proud to offer high quality produce and eggs at our home farm-stand. We also raise free-range roaster chickens and heritage breed turkeys on our 38 acre farm right here in southern Rhode Island. We own 4 beautiful highland cattle who call our farm home and love when we bring them table-scrap treats. We are committed to raising our animals responsibly and to being good stewards of the land.

Last Minute Discounted Turkeys Available!

We have frozen broad breasted turkeys available at a deeply discounted rate!

20-30 pound turkeys available for $50 a piece.

These are surplus turkeys from last season, as we have been unable to raise a new flock this year. They are in great shape and still delicious. They have all the health benefits of being raised free-range on some of the best feed available.

Thanks to all my CSA members for a great first pick-up Thursday! I just used my radish greens to make a variation on minestrone soup and it is delicious if I do say so myself! I hope you're all finding creative ways to use what the garden gives us. See you again this Thursday!

Hi all, Thorns and Acorns Farm has some plants for sale! Here is what we have to offer.
Tomatoes:
- 4 Yellow Pear (cherry type)
- 6 Chocolate Cherry
- 6 Red Cherry
- 6 Green Zebra (green striped slicing)
- 4 Pinepple (large yellow slicing)
- 7 Cherokee Purple (purple slicing)
- 7 Brandywine (classic red slicing)
- 9 San Marzano (large plum type, ideal for sauce and canning)

We also have 3 Jalapeno pepper plants available.

All Plants are in 4 inch pots, $3 each and can be picked up at our home.
Let us know if you would like some big, healthy plants to help kick-start your garden! Now is the time to plant!
