We wanted to share some news regarding our owner and chef, Dawn. Dawn is experiencing an illness that has left her hospitalized. Because of this, you may have reached out to us and received no response. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

ZuZu's Caters .....

Whether you are looking for just a few platters to supplement your next party, or you need the whole affair catered, ZuZu’s Catering is here to help. Our Beautiful and Delicious Array of Hors D’oeuvres, Appetizer Platters, Entrees, Salads, Sides, & Sandwiches are sure to please everyone’s taste, and impress your guests!

While we will always make our best effort to fulfill last minute catering requests, we request at least 72 hours notice for catering orders. During peak catering seasons, more lead time will be needed as many Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays become fully booked weeks/months in advance.

An email inquiry will not reserve a date. A tentative order must be placed and secured with a Credit Card/Deposit.

You may pick up your order at ZuZu's @ 316 Main Street, Wakefield. Delivery possible for a fee when available.

DEAR BELOVED ZUZU’S COMMUNITY,
TO OUR CUSTOMERS, FRIENDS & FAMILY...

WE THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE CAFE OVER THE PAST 11 YEARS IN GOOD TIMES AND HARD TIMES. WE COULDN’T HAVE SUCCEEDED WITHOUT YOU ALL. TRULY.

THE PAST 18 MONTHS HAVE BEEN MORE CHALLENGING THAN WE COULD HAVE EVER IMAGINED. EVEN AT OUR HARDEST TIMES THROUGHOUT THE PAST 11 YEARS, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING MEASURES UP TO THE UNCERTAINTY, FEAR & STRUGGLES OF THE PAST YEAR AND A HALF.

AND YET WE ARE SO GRATEFUL. TO HAVE ALL OF YOU THAT HELPED SUSTAIN US! AND TO BE ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES, THAT MADE IT OUT TO THE OTHER SIDE.

THAT BEING SAID, WE CURRENTLY HAVE A PROBLEM WE NEVER ANTICIPATED. RECENTLY CATERING HAS COME BACK IN FULL FORCE, AND THEN SOME. ALMOST OVERNIGHT. WE ARE SO OVERJOYED TO ONCE AGAIN BE PART OF YOUR CELEBRATIONS AFTER SUCH A LONG PERIOD OF SEPARATION!

JUST AS WE HAVE BEEN OVERJOYED TO RECONNECT WITH ALL THE CAFE CUSTOMERS OVER THE PAST YEAR AFTER REOPENING FOR TAKEOUT LAST JUNE. YOUR SUPPORT AND COMPANIONSHIP HAS FED OUR SOULS OVER THE PAST YEAR. AFTER BEING SO ISOLATED DURING QUARANTINE.

BEING BUSY IS SURELY A GOOD PROBLEM TO HAVE. BUT ONE THAT ALSO HAS US STRUGGLING. WE FIND OURSELVES IN A SITUATION IN WHICH WE CAN NOT SUSTAIN BOTH HALVES OF OUR BUSINESS IN A MANNER THAT MEETS OUR HIGH STANDARDS FOR BOTH OUR CAFE & OUR CATERING BUSINESS. FOR MANY VARIED REASONS.

SO IT IS WITH A HEAVY HEART THAT I SHARE THAT WE WILL BE SUSPENDING CAFE OPERATIONS FOR THE NEXT 6 WEEKS TO FOCUS SOLELY ON THE CATERING SIDE OF OUR BUSINESS.

WE HAVE BEEN STRETCHING OURSELVES TOO THIN FOR TOO LONG AND WE NEED SOME TIME TO RECOVER, REGROUP AND SEE HOW BEST TO MOVE FORWARD IN THE FALL OF 2021.

THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE HARDEST DECISIONS OF MY LIFE. BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY WE NEED TO DO WHAT IS BEST FOR OUR FAMILY, AND FOR OUR PHYSICAL & MENTAL HEALTH AFTER A DOOZY OF A YEAR.
