What you see is curated, edited, planned, and synthetic.
Likes, dings, suggested, scrolling.
Know that these spaces are designed to keep you addicted and see people in electronic boxes as entertainment.
It dehumanizes.
Creates a hum and undercurrent of anxiety, depression, looping thoughts, animosity, and despair.
It causes you to compare and crave and envy.
It steals your contentment and gratitude for what you have and how far you've come.
It sucks hours and hours away from creating and improving and learning and healing.
It creates addictions to shopping, gaming, gambling, po*******hy, and dwindles your bank account and resolve.
It steals from your in-real-life human relationships where you could be investing time sitting in the same room instead of a synthetic like or a heart.
It creates spaces to snap judge.
To say hurtful and hateful things without consequence.
It allows bullying in adults and children alike.
It feeds you agendas from people at the top who use us as cattle.
Take the creation back.
Turn it off.
Breathe in deep.
Sit in quiet.
Create "art" in real life.
Love on your Home.
Write a note of encouragement to someone you know is struggling.
Make a meal from scratch.
Read a classic novel printed on paper.
Sign up for a class.
Learn something new.
Take a walk in the rain.
Visit a library.
Think those hard thoughts--not numb them out.
Tell someone you're sorry.
Call someone for help.
And most importantly...
Detox, break the scroll cycles, schedule a time to •feel• again, and UNPLUG.
