Gouda went to his new home this afternoon!

It’s funny how one social media post has connected many of us. This was all possible because of Co-Jack and Cookies n Cream Dairy & Beef.

Memphis, the young man pictured below, showed one of the Charolais cross calves from Wisconsin this year and won everything with him at his fair (Co-Jacks brother). So, he wanted another one. Can’t say I blame him. They are cool calves that finish great.

Since we don’t have a class at our fair, we offered Gouda to him. So happy he’ll have a great show home. Can’t wait to see what Memphis and Gouda accomplish next year ❤️

I really should’ve cleaned him up for his picture 😝

“Why does your beef taste different??”

Many reasons.

We will never tell someone not to buy beef from a box store or another farm. Somewhere and somehow that beef was raised by a farmer or rancher too.

So, why might it taste different?

The most likely reasons come down to this…
*Breed
*Diet
*Age
*Dry Aging
*ONE steer vs multiple

You pick what fits your family’s budget and taste preference. Not all farmers or ranchers do everything the same way. That’s OKAY- it gives you more options!

Just eat BEEF ❤️ 🥩

Aging like fine wine 😝

Not something we share or talk about often, but I know many of you have mentioned it.

Yes, we are ok!! Some health scares made us start focusing on ourselves. We’ve been working hard at it for a few years now. Thanks for noticing ❤️
