Some Friday afternoon/Saturday morning rubber flipping😎 Timmy Winiarski and Dean got the row crop tires and spacers put on the CASE IH 340 CVT yesterday for running between corn rows to apply nitrogen, and Dean Ortner finished putting row crops on the Miller for in crop spraying! The pallet jack holding the floater tire up in the second picture was the best Dean could come up with to get those big boys off on his own😂 Time to w**d and feed!🌽🫛

Attention all farmers and supporters!🚨 🚨

Please find the time to check out this link about the elimination of the Agriculture Sales Tax Exemption for drain tile and grain bins! We all need to fight the madness, protect the American farmer. They don’t make it easy on us as is, and it’s about to get harder yet!

FINALLY! DONE✅🌽🌱

Atleast we think🫣

Replant is not off the table, a little rain would go a long way today! On one hand, the stragglers and struggling fields will be helped with a little moisture, on the other hand the freshly planted fields may crust. Regardless if your planter is new or old, no matter how much fertilizer you use, or how many jugs of fish p**p and acids you dumped in, Mother Nature has the final say.

But for today, we are done, and prep for next season has started!

Here’s an awesome shot captured by a neighbor of the man himself Steve Ortner finishing up one of the final fields of corn! is in the books, for now…

Yesterday was infact, a Monday🙄

The first ceramic coated 715, might have became the first buried 715 yesterday. Luckily, the big kitty was on site, she was really in there😅 Add “improve field crossing” to the to-do list!

It’s not always sunshine and rainbows, this has been one of the toughest springs we’ve had in a long while. Last year, we didn’t skip a beat, couldn’t have done it more right, didn’t replant an inch, and set farm yield records across the board. Being spread out across 3 counties played in our favor, the wheels never quit turning. This season, I can count the fields on one hand that are out of the ground. The crust, the rain outs, the hiccups, have kept us from making any substantial headway. When the sun sets tonight, planting (for the first time) will be over, and replant will begin, let’s hope today is a better day!🙏🏻

Goodmorning neighbors! If you can hear the dog fight around Wakeman and Clarksfield today, it’s not WWIII, although I’m certain this guy would have been an ace! Wet weather is keeping us out of the fields, but disease takes no breaks! Fungicide timing is critical in wheat to combat diseases like fusarium, which can cause contamination of grain, making both animals and humans sick. The cool wet weather right at flowering makes it critical to protect our grains any way we can! Usually we run our own ground rig, but with 2.5 inches of rain and no dry time, we had to improvise! And having Precision Aerial Ag. based out of Ortner Airport helps too😉 With the weather we are having, I’m sure this will be a common sight around the area, whether it’s drones, planes, or helicopters, tis the season for fungicide✈️🚁🌾 anyone want to go for a plane ride? You go first😵‍💫

It’s that time of year again! Our annual return to Facebook after a winter hiatus, spent all of it cleaning equipment and prepping for

We test ran planters 2 weeks ago before the flood gates opened, kicked the year off right with 2 days of gremlins and 100 acres we will be replanting🫠 but we are hitting it hard like it’s never going to rain again!

Tillage going down in 2 counties as we type, it’s time to get it😎 breaking in the seat in the new work horse today!

Looking forward to more sunrises like these! 📸-Timmy Winiarski

Under 50 acres of tillage left and we are done till we start letting manure fly!💩 24 straight hours of ripping and the finish line is in sight! We covered roughly 450 acres in the last 3 days with this rig, a total of about 800 gallons of diesel, a solid handful of shear bolts, and a good bit of lost sleep! Topped off with fuel, now it’s time for breakfast🥞⛽️

Another season here and gone!🌽🌱

We have a few acres of drought decimated double crops we are on the fence about cutting, but I think it’s close enough to say we are officially done!

We can’t thank everyone who pitched in and helped keep things rolling enough. Without our wonderful friends and family behind us we don’t know where we would be now, but it wouldn’t be done! No matter how much technology, or how much we’ve grown, we are still a family operation, and we couldn’t do it without everyone involved!

Thank you Timmy Winiarski, Bill Walter, Cory Walter, Camden McConnell, Ayden Maclean, Jan Ortner, and Joe Sosinski for everything you guys did, whether it was helping with equipment prep, filling in to drive truck, helping keep up on tillage or running grain cart, we couldn’t have made it to the finish line without you guys!

Of course, we can’t thank the wonderful women, mothers, and fiancés enough for all of the support❤️ Dealing with us and the schedule, giving rides, bringing out hot meals, and filling a seat here and there when things were tight, you ladies are rockstars! Thank you Courtney Ortner, Paige Stuhldreher, and Skylar Hildebrandt!

To all of our friends and colleagues who service the farm, from planting to harvest and everything in between, thank you Wellington Implement for keeping things moving when we had troubles. Jamie Bryant with Meristem and Russ Culler with Sunrise Agronomy for keeping the shuttles full and the crops healthy all season! Kevin Walter of iGeneration Seed and Pioneer for making sure we have the best seed and keep our bins full to the roofs!

Despite the weather, we prevailed. Top of the line products, top notch tech, and amazing friends and family, all working together year in and year out to deliver the highest quality grain and land management for our landlords and future generations! We are a team, we are a family, we are
