A refurbished 1989 model Versatile 946 has served our local community well and is slated to carry on its legacy in the savannah region of Ghana, in West Africa.
Thanks go out to SpoonBeal Farm for parting with their tractor, L&L Equipment for a few repairs, Manuel Guzman of Rice Country Tarps for the marvelous paint job, and Farmers Supply and Henard Tire for reconfiguring the tires and ballast. Its dual wheels and tires will be shipped separately in a container with other implements.
The initial task for this tractor will be operating a Harrell Rock & Root Rake following brush clearing operations. The likely site is on the north shore of Volta Lake, west of Salaga.
