Tomato sauce! We washed and cored the tomatoes, cooked them down to soft, put them through the sauce mill, boiled off extra fluid, and then canned them in quarts.

We also blanched corn, cut it off the cob, and vacuum sealed for the freezer.

Plus we baked off pumpkin and squash, cubed, vacuumed sealed and froze.

Lots of hot work on a hot day but totally worth it for winter eating. And after all the work and dishes, you better believe I was super thankful for my past self putting tons of pizzas in the freezer. We snatched a couple out for dinner and kicked our feet up for an evening rest.

September 11&12 Farmstand Menu!
I would *highly* encourage you to pre-order this weekend. I only have 8 bread pans and as I am also heading to Harvest Fest at Tractor Supply this Saturday, I want to make sure you guys (my regulars!) get what you want and I'll take "extras" with me to Harvest Fest.

All the chocolate... This is a new loaf this week! It is my regular sourdough base with white chocolate, milk chocolate, semi sweet chocolate and dark chocolate mixed inside. Every bite is a little different as the chocolate settles through the dough and makes a very delicious toast. Try it with butter or cream cheese!

I have hot and fresh blueberry coffee cake and strawberry short coffee cake. Just pulled from the oven an hour ago, these beauties are still steamy and ready for you to enjoy. Prices as listed.

I have a variety of from the freezer cookies including several Rainbow Citrus flight, and one each of peanut butter chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamia nut, coffee cookies, raspberry white chocolate and lemon. $12 as usual for 1 or $20 for 2 cookies as a Labor Day Special!

I have a rainbow-riffic lineup of lemonade concentrates out there including blackberry, strawberry, raspberry and peach. Just add 3 jars of water to make a strong half gallon or dilute to preferred taste.

Last dinner of fresh green beans! The beans are actually producing really well after all the rain, but I'm going to let them overripen and dry out to save seeds for next year. I have big plans to double my green beans next year so I can sell more fresh goodness... And keep up with my growing kids appetites. 95 quarts canned this year 💪

My friend is an avid canner, started these tomatoes from seed, grew them organically, but found herself at her husband's hospital bedside come canning season so she is selling off her tomatoes instead. Spread the word and let's help her out by buying all the tomatoes!!!

We had a fantastic day at the Fair as a family. I found a 4H quilt my deceased mother helped make more than 20 years ago still hanging in the 4H building. We ran into many friends, walked the exhibits, visited the animals, watched demos, cheered on high jumping dogs and racing pigs, and even clapped at the rabbit costume contest. It was a great day.

So imagine the shock of coming home and finding my cash box significantly short today. Devastating. I put a lot of love into baking for others but do it so I can have extra funds for my family. If you paid digitally, please check your app and confirm it went through, if you are uncertain, please message me. I had 3 ladies confirm Venmo payment today while I was at the fair, confirming with me isn't hard! I am hoping this is a technical glitch and not an intentional theft because I like to hope for the good in people.

However, I will be reviewing the footage from the stand tonight and if things aren't sorted quickly, I will have to contact the sheriff and reconsider the future of the stand with 3 significant thefts in only 2 months of the farmstand open.

Great news! The bridge reopened today!!!! That makes getting to me from Sheboygan Falls and Sheboygan so much easier. The stand will be open tomorrow again with coffee cookies, raspberry white chocolate cookies, lemon cookies, blueberry coffee cake, strawberry short coffee cake and a few loaves of bread. Stop on by and grab a few items for your last weekend of summer!

Sorry for the delay this morning! It has been pouring rain and I was trying to wait until the worst of it passed before setting anything out. To keep everything rain safe, I have the baked goods in tubs and will keep them on the porch until the rain stops before moving them down to the stand.

Since we had a wasp issue last week, you will also see everything boxed then bagged to keep them away! This means no display boxes though as they are too large to fit in the bags. Hopefully by now you have an idea of what things look like but I apologize for any inconvenience.

Today I have:

4 raspberry white chocolate cookies
4 lemon cookies
3 blueberry coffee cake
3 strawberry short coffee cake
1 cinnamon sugar loaf
1 herb garden loaf
3 plain loaves

Plus several preorders set to the side. If you preordered, please grab your bag and not items from the general pool of items.

I have a crate of cucumbers too. Take what you want, pay what you can. I have more than I can handle at this moment.

I bottled more silver as well. These are perfect to grab as we head into sick season!! When you have been exposed or feel yourself coming down with something, take 1 TBSP 3x a day. Being antibacterial and antiviral, silver will go to war on any harmful pathogens in your system and help resolved sickness quicker by giving your immune system some extra support naturally.

I also have a large amount of lemonade concentrates out at the stand, a perfect drink to mix and serve at any labor day events this weekend! 1 jar of concentrate to 3 jars of water for a full half gallon. Raspberry, strawberry, blackberry and peach are all available. Enjoy!
