This is our last Thursday-Sunday week, then we have just two Saturday-Sunday weekends left.

To make the most of the remaining time, we are continuing to bring back some of our favorite pizzas. This much-loved seasonal pie is a fan favorite and is returning to the menu this week:

Maine apple slices, thinly sliced red onion, smoked cheddar, finished with a mustard vinaigrette. Available on house made dough or gluten-free crust.

The Margherita also returns this week. This pizza celebrates late summer in Maine ...one delicious bite at a time!

We are bringing back a few of our favorite seasonal pizzas this week.

This one has gained a following: the basil and peach pizza. It’s a true celebration of our farm, featuring fresh peach slices, fresh basil, ricotta cream sauce, mozzarella and provolone, finished with lavender-infused honey. The peaches, basil and lavender are all grown here! Available on our house made dough or gluten-free crust.

Also, If you want to try making your own lavender-infused honey we are selling organically grown dried lavender bundles.

Now for the sad part: we have 3 regular Thursday-Sunday weeks left (including this one), and then only two shorter weekends left until our closing on September 20, 2026. We hope to see you soon!

With only 4 weeks left on our regular schedule (Thursday–Sunday), followed by two more weekends before the September 20, 2026 closing, we decided to bring back some of our favorite pizzas.

This week we welcome back the salami and pickled pepper pizza featuring: Soppressata salami, house pickled peppers and freshly picked oregano from our farm, red onion, red sauce, mozzarella and provolone. Tried and true classic flavors!

With the approaching school year ahead, we say goodbye to many of our staff who return to teaching and student life. In their absence, we will not be staffed with enough people to realistically meet demand (y’all can really crush the pizzas!) and will close on September 20, 2026. This year we decided to make that a permanent closure date.

10 years ago we purchased this property with the goal of creating Odd Alewives. After 9 seasons and many projects later, our business has outgrown our own personal goals and ambitions. Sometimes you just know when it’s time and we feel ready and excited to move onto another chapter.

We can’t thank you enough for the years of support you have given us! Many of you we now call good friends. Many summer nights have been spent in the beer garden catching up with friends and family, celebrating your birthdays, upcoming weddings, even honoring the passing of your loved ones, and that has really meant a lot to us.

Lastly, a shout out to our staff. We have always attracted the most lovable oddballs to the Odd Alewives ‘island of misfit toys’ team. It’s been an honor working with you, thank you for making hard work fun!

Our updated schedule is posted below. If you have gift certificates, now is the time to use them. We hope to see you once more before we close the barn doors for good.

With love,
Sarah & John
