It’s been a while since I’ve given an update on the yarn side of things, we’ve been focusing so much on music and remaining marginally sane during the pandemic... and trying to help Ty with college applications (I still can’t believe he’s a senior)! But the weather is turning brisk-er, and the leaves and people are starting to shiver, so it’s high time for a yarn post!
The Cashmere Goat has been sold, and I have yet to connect with the new owners. They may still have some of my yarns in stock, but I haven’t checked with them. I can only imagine what it is like to take over a yarn shop, it must be a little daunting! I will miss Misty and the ladies, but I bet the new crew will be just as awesome!
The biggest piece of news that I have to share is that beginning tomorrow, September 9th, you can find our yarn at Spear Spring Farm in Warren! I met with Jamien today, and she hand-picked a basket of lovely skeins for her customers to peruse. While you’re there, check out the amazing craft beer selection, beautiful onions and potatoes, and they even carry Copper Tail Farm’s cajeta. I love that my fiber is keeping such good company!
Fun tidbit: They also carry yarn from Bittersweet Heritage Farm, and the sheep on their label is one of our former flock-members!
