🚨 Soul Wok just dropped NEW MENU ITEMS & you're gonna wanna try them! 😮‍💨🔥

The Kung Pao Chicken was so good I had to order extra brown sauce on the side. We also tried several of their newest additions:

• Kung Pao Chicken
• Grand Dragon Shrimp & Chicken
• Honey Garlic Chicken
• Monster Chicken Eggrolls

And because I couldn't help myself, we grabbed a Monster Steak & Cheese Eggroll too (not new, but still a must-order 🤭).

There’s a hidden farmers market in Maryland that stay selling out delicious BBQ every weekend 👀🔥

📍 Smoken Lo BBQ at Glenn Dale Farmers Market got everything from smoked salmon to brisket, ribs, and oxtails that be gone QUICK.

I actually had to go back twice in the same day for that salmon 😭 The salmon smokes for 4 hours, the brisket for 12, and the oxtails for 8. You can taste every bit of that patience.

The market itself is a whole vibe. Fresh peaches, homemade cookies, local vendors, and some of the best BBQ I’ve had at a farmers market.

Catch them every Saturday from 9AM–1PM or until they sell out!

bitess is a home-based chef serving up weekly specials that look GOOD every single time. This “Baby Shower Plate” came with Thai chili wings, honey old bay wings, creamy mac & cheese, string beans, meatballs, and a dinner roll 🥰👏🏽

One thing to know: her menu rotates weekly, so definitely check out her page to keep up with what she’s cooking next! She also offers catering, luxury cakes, and custom treats for events and special occasions 💜

Every thursday from 3pm to close, Corso Italian is doing $29 girl dinner and it actually makes sense. two dishes from a curated menu PLUS a drink of your choice, and yes the zero-proof options are giving because we stan a Phony Negroni and a Rosato Fizz.

Is this the BEST buffet in the DMV? 🦀

DMV foodies, Umi Hot Pot Sushi & Seafood Buffet in Rockville, MD has been on my list for a while and I'm so glad I finally visited 😻

Unlimited crab legs, sushi, hibachi, ramen, hotpot, AND a make your own boba bar. They even have a sauce and seasoning bar. (We still brought our own seasoning tho, no judgment 😭)

My favorites: prime rib, crab sushi roll, spicy ramen, black pepper chicken, braised oxtail stew, and the chicken wings.

Lula Maes Gardin is named after Chef Lakisha's grandmother, Lula Mae, who passed down every single recipe you're eating. Her grandmother was from South Carolina and everything on this menu is because of her. That kind of love, you can taste it in every bite.

Here's what I tried:
🫶🏼 Loaded grits with catfish and salmon, sautéed vegetables
🫶🏼 Grandma's stew chicken with collard greens and mac & cheese, topped with homemade gravy, sautéed onions and peppers
🫶🏼 Pork chop with sweet potato soufflé and fried curry cabbage
🫶🏼 Catfish nuggets with Lula sauce
🫶🏼 Kale apple salad with homemade strawberry vinaigrette
🫶🏼 Grilled shrimp salad
🫶🏼 Red beans and rice with beef, sausage, chicken, peppers and onions
🫶🏼 Banana pudding
🫶🏼 Mint lemonade, Lula lemonade and peach lemonade

The catfish and grits, the pork chop, the red beans and rice, catfish nuggets and that banana pudding were my favorites. Start with the Lula Lemonade, trust me 🥰

Only been at this location 8 months. Black-owned, filled with love, great customer service and parking. Tag someone who needs to know about this!

Hey Maryland! If wings are your love language, The Greene Turtle just gave us something to talk about. They launched Wing Fest where you get all you can eat wings, fries, and 2 wing sauces for just $19.99 every Monday through Wednesday.

Our favorite flavors were the honey old bay and spicy peach, but the lemon pepper and spicy thai chili were right there with them. The crab dip and cowboy burger are absolutely worth adding to your order too.

Brunch on a boat in DC! Now this is how you throw an event 🚢💕

I got to attend Fray's annual influencer event with and a time was had. Bottomless mimosas, a buffet that hit, and views of the city that had me ready to plan every future celebration right here.

The highlight was def the fashion show. Nautical theme, runway walks, everybody hyping each other up. I'm still working on getting that hand off the hip chile 🤣.
