Everhart Herefords Open House
weekend!

We’d love for you to join us on September 19th and 20th from 8-5 for our open house. It’s a great opportunity to grab a drink and see some of our cattle.

We’ve continued to build on our reputation for excellent Hereford genetics, and we’re really looking forward to the amazing future our herd will bring.

You’ll get to see the newest and best genetics the breed has to offer, along with how we’re using genetic DNA testing to help the breed grow. We’ll be discussing all the cattle, including the spring 2026 heifer calves and bulls, as well as our herd bulls, “Longest Yard,” and our newest sire, “Cool Ranch Dorito” from Wiese and Sons.

We also think you might enjoy a visit to Ramsey’s Herefords, just 30 miles north in Greenfield, Indiana.

✍️ A quick note as we’ve been getting questions in on the offering…

We’re working hard to get the weaned heifer calves domesticated and ready for display. They’re penned up in pairs and available by appointment to view before the Open House.

Bred heifers will be ultrasounded soon (August 27) and are also penned in one group on pasture for easy viewing by appointment.

📸 Official sale pictures and videos will be taken September 7-8 and shared ASAP afterwards.

As these details get finalized, we’ll put more information out here on the offering. Heifer calves born Jan - May. Youngest heifers not yet weaned.

🧬 Sire groups on calves include 4030, Long Haul, No Limit, Longest Yard, Cash Flow, Icon, Pearl Snap & Bruno.

If you can’t be with us for the Open House September 18-20, please feel free to visit beforehand. We will honor phone bids and handle contending bids on a case by case basis. Old school. Uncomplicated.

Nothing will be sold beforehand and the Open House will follow a similar schedule to last year.

What a high honor!! Congratulations Jack!!

A proud moment for !

Jack Ward, Executive Vice President, was recently inducted into the Indiana Livestock Breeders Hall of Fame during the Indiana State Fair. This prestigious honor continues a tradition dating back to the 1930s, celebrating individuals who have made a lasting impact on the livestock industry.

We’re proud to celebrate Jack and this well-deserved recognition.
