Started in 2017 this will be our 5th year farming. Working this market garden/micro farm has been t
he culmination of my personal projects and study over the years. I farm to provide for those who don't have the time, skill, or desire to grow their own food, but desire to have the freshest produce possible. I grow using organic practices although we are not certified organic (cause it's a ridiculously expensive certification). All inputs are organic and we never ever use any herbicides or pesticides. We do all this to provide you with the best quality and freshness possible. Most people don't know that most of the organics that are available in the grocery store are from the west coast and are over a week old before you take it home. Also, when they have a sign that says "local" it means local, within the state- easily 200 miles away. I want to change the meaning of local- to me, local means knowing your farmer and knowing how your food was grown or raised. Taking the time to eat locally and from local producers is not only an investment in your health but in the lives of those who provide these items for you.
