ADGA American Nubian doe available IN MILK!! Julia is 5 years old, a little overweight, milk stand trained and an amazing milker! She has freshened 4 times giving 1 buck and 3 does! This girl is a milk machine!!! She is 14 weeks post-kidding and producing 1.5 gallons/day with TAD milking. She peaked at just under 2 gallons the last 2 seasons! We are excited to now offer our farm-fresh, raw goat's milk to our local community.

WHY CHOOSE OUR GOAT'S MILK?

All of our broccoli has more than doubled in size this year, but this one.... 😲 The 2 cup measuring cup is for size reference! We started all our brassicas from seed this year(80 total 🙄). Well, the wild rabbits wreaked havoc on them, we replaced them, then the 18 degree weather wiped most of them out, then.... the rabbits ate what was left.... So, these are Bonnie's Lieutenant Broccoli, which is what we have planted every year (with the exception of a few we started from seed for a test run last year). Big shout out to the Waldron Farmer's Co-op for letting me dig through yals damaged brassicas to salvage some!! I am grateful beyond words!

TIP OF THE DAY!

Harvest all your ripest strawberries before heavy rains or storms (preferably early morning)! Heavy rain greatly reduces the sugar content in your strawberries and will make them so tart your whole face puckers (same goes for over watering)! It can also cause them to become mushy before ripening.

With that being said, if you see me harvesting in the middle of a thunderstorm/tornado watch/warning, that's why!! 😬

We are so truly blessed! This is our third year with strawberries, and our best year yet! We have definitely worked harder to keep them up this last year and it has paid off! Almost 5 lbs today!!
