Wow! Yesterday was amazing! Thank you to everyone who visited us. It was good to see old friends and meet new ones. We loved having you all at our farm and getting a chance to share why you should be planting native plants. Hopefully, many of you were converted to “native plant people”. If you did not get a chance to visit or just need more plants, we are open by appointment during the week. On Saturday’s we will be at the Foothills Heritage Farmers Market.

The Farm Crawl is tomorrow and two of my favorite native flowers are blooming. Yay!
We hope that you will make a stop at our farm. SC Master Gardeners will be here to answer all your gardening questions. These Master Gardeners are especially knowledgeable about native plants.
Also, we have Nature Bingo, a scavenger hunt, for kids of all ages. It will be led by our WHS student volunteer.

We are so excited for the Oconee Farm Craw this weekend but we have been burning the candle at both ends! We have worked hard and sweated a-lot and we are ready for you! The Oconee Farm Crawl is 3 days away. We are so excited that “The Foothills Homesteader” will be joining us. Tara will have her amazing tallow products and delicious baked goods. I highly recommend her tallow balm moisturizer. It is exactly what our hard working hands need to heal!
Also, her farm stand will be open on Poplar Springs Road. See the photo. You can’t miss it.

The 2026 Oconee Farm Crawl is almost here! I want to share some of the things that are happening at our farm next weekend.
11:00 - Let me take you on a tour of our new pollinator garden. We will talk about how to attract beautiful butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators. I will give you a list of some of my favorite native plants.
2:00- The greenhouse will be open for a tour. I will walk you through the propagation process from seed starting to potting up seedlings. You will get a chance to pot up a seedling of your choice to take home.

The Oconee Farm Crawl is looking for volunteers. Anyone interested in helping us on May 16th?

Want to be part of the Farm Crawl in a special way?

We are looking for volunteers to help us make this day incredible for our farmers and guests!

Volunteers will serve in simple, 2-hour shifts at one of our farms helping with things like welcoming guests, assisting with parking, and keeping the flow running smoothly.

And here’s the fun part…

Work your 2-hour shift, then spend the rest of the day exploring the farms, meeting the farmers, and enjoying everything the Crawl has to offer.
