Hey I’m Karsyn, a devoted wife & mom of 3 creating a more intentional way of life with sourdough, gardening, & animals that I aim to share so you can do the same.

If you’ve been wondering where the heck I’ve been… honestly, same. 😂

I know I’ve been a little MIA lately, and unfortunately the farm stand is STILL broken. 🤦‍♀️ I fully intended to get it fixed, but then life decided to throw about 47 other things at me and apparently the farm stand repair moved to the bottom of the “things I should probably do” list. 😂

Between the kids, animals, life, and everything else going on around here, I just haven’t had the time to get out there and fix the poor thing. BUT I PROMISE IT HAS NOT BEEN ABANDONED. 😂

The good news: WE ARE STILL ACTIVELY SELLING EGGS! 🥚🥚🥚

Just because the stand is temporarily out of commission doesn’t mean the chickens have stopped doing their job. 😂 These girls are still working overtime and keeping us stocked up!

So if you need fresh eggs, send me a message! You can still get your eggs directly from us while I attempt to get my life together and resurrect the farm stand. 🤣

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Blink’s Acres, check in on us, buy eggs, and patiently wait for the stand to make its glorious comeback. ❤️

More updates coming soon… assuming life stops laughing at my plans. 🤣🌾

Apparently now we are having a smallest vs largest egg contest!

One of our girls decided to go BIG while another decided to go home. 😂

The small egg is a fairy egg which is a tiny egg that a hen lays without a normal yolk inside. They’re also called wind eggs, fart eggs, or dwarf eggs (depending on who you ask 😂). They’re usually much smaller than a regular egg and can happen when a hen’s reproductive system releases a little bit of egg material before a normal yolk has made its way through.

Nature is weird. Chicken math is weird. And apparently our chickens are just out here keeping us entertained.

Although our stand is currently closed, we still have plenty of eggs for sale! Please message us to set up a time for pick up!

The self serve stand is going to be down for the count for a little bit 😞 today’s craziness won. Thankfully the stand was the only thing damaged. But still sad.

IF YOU NEED EGGS PLEASE GET AHOLD OF ME VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE SO WE CAN SET UP A TIME FOE PICK UP ❤️

🚨 BUSTED. 🚨

For someone who constantly reminds me, “They’re your chickens,” and claims he doesn’t even like them… I happened to catch him sweet-talking every single hen while collecting eggs. 😂🐔

I don’t think he realized I was standing there listening. Sorry, babe… the evidence says otherwise. ❤️🥚

Does anyone else have a spouse who insists they don’t like the animals… but secretly babies them?

Stop by and grab some zucchini, eggs, and sweet corn!!!
