Coy and I (Mom) “rescued” this chicken from Starbucks in Walker today! And it was not easy to do! She had a hurt toe and we brought her back to the house and fixed her right up! In a remarkable stroke of luck, we were able to find her owner. She had stowed away in the back of a pickup truck and rode for miles! Her owner said she is always getting into mischief. I’m so glad we were able to patch her up and get her home safely. We temporarily named her Venti. She even laid an egg in Coy’s lap on the way home. Lol.

One of our chicks was born with curly toe paralysis which makes it hard for her to stand and walk. Luckily it’s an easy fix. Just had to make her some shoes to splint her toes and we will re-evaluate tomorrow!

I have eggs available! 4/dozen. Our hens are fed a high quality feed/scratch blend and get vegetables, fruits, and extra protein several times a week. They free range 8-10 hours per day most days.

I have 3 roos available right now. They are all friendly, not aggressive, great roos. Just don’t get along with my other roos and are getting picked on.

White silkie roo- kids named him Casper
1.5 years old.
Protects the girls. A great man, Savannah.

Easter Egger roo.
9 months old.
Good roo. Kind of aloof at times.

Black and White Japanese Bantam roo.
1+ years old.
So cute. A short king.
