For us, horses are not just a means of making money. They’re not just our job. They’re our family.
We spent every day caring for them and loving them just as much as any other family member.
They help us to teach other people what it is like to love these animals and then when it’s time for them to retire, we let them grow fat in our pasture.
Horses don’t pass in and out of our barn. They find a place to stay and we cherish every moment with them.
It’s never been about the money. It’s always been about the love for these animals.
Our hearts are broken to say that we lost our beloved Juliet, “Jules”, today to colic. I can promise you, we tried everything we could.
You never can replace any of them, but Jules will be a hard one to fill her shoes. She was the sweetest mare, with the softest nickers, and the biggest bug eyes that we won’t ever forget. She taught so many what loving a horse can do and I know that many hearts will feel her loss.
I know we’ll see you again in horsie heaven, because that’s where all the good ones go 🪽
