I’ll admit, I have been hoarding frozen embryos on my best sheep and I have too many to put in myself, especially after a recent harvest of 11 embryos on one donor via IVF. 🤩 We placed 7 of them fresh due this fall and 4 frozens are available for purchase.

I have had many people ask me the differences on these 3 similar ram options for RRFF semen purchases this year:

1) Mean tweets excels in skeletal size, muscle proportion with balance and front end assembly. He’s registered hamp as a bonus.

2) Twitch is an IVF progeny that excels in width, center body and fore rib shape. I love that with an FF ram! His dam side pedigree is similar to Thank me later. His donor dam was a state fair class winning natural color so he will likely throw more of that in his offspring.

3) Snare is the pretty boy of the trio, I’ll breed him to the thicker ended more moderate built ewes. His mom is a Title town donor ewe that is one of the first ewes you will find when studying our donor pen.

Introducing one of our consignments to this weeks’ Black and White show and sale. He hits the auction block Saturday April 18.

This IVF derived crossbred ram lambs Burch bred dam has a track record of producing a champion natural color wether at the Nebraska state fair and other successful offspring. I even saw some solid progeny that tracked back to her last week at the Heavy Hitters sale last week.

This Truce son has an incredible hard touch and I’m excited to get him in the ring and displayed for public review! Enjoy this teaser!

Rizzo is the daughter of one of my sons first successful show ewes. I thought it was serendipitous that Pendleton is out of a wizard ewe and our only razzle baby is also out of a Wizard daughter. The parts are much bigger in person than what the pictures show. Ditch backed, big hipped, swoopy bellied, with a trendy short blade and shallow chest. After studying sheep the last several weekends at live sales, I'm really questioning why I'm selling this one. But I'll sleep well at night knowing I can make another and have reserved the right to a future successful IVF harvest at buyers convenience.
