Hi Everyone,
Please join me in wishing Kristal Rose a Happy Birthday! She is part of everything we do! From new products like moisturizers, gift boxes, tallow, spices to cutting and packaging. She does a lot of it herself. Tirelessly works even if she is sick or faces inclement weather. She is so Instrumental in all the USDA products to include remote grading. We say people are part of the team to make things work but We also would say that Kristal is the heart of that team that makes it work! From Payroll writing at times to delivering each and every “Beef to School”! To our fortune she has her mom’s tenacity to do the best job possible! Love you young lady! Proud to be your Dad!

Another beef to school was delivered today! Pam and Kristal delivered local SD beef to Custer Hermosa school system at 1pm. So some children will be happy!

This message is another sweet bitter one. Sweet because he is going back home to raise his own cattle and back with his family. Bitter because Dillon is like a son to me. At least from Monday through Friday until he has to go back home to help with chores. He will be missed at Wall Meats.

I just want to say thank you Dillon Kammerer aka “Marshal Dillon” for sticking with us for the last 22 months. He has done so much to keep us afloat and get Wall Meats to levels we have not seen before. From CIS to USDA Full Grant then to remote grading and all less than 17 months. That my friends is a huge undertaking for a 21 year old.

Also, in that period he has amass his own herd of cattle and his own brand. Upgraded his small processing unit at home and made a bunch of friends in the meat processing side of Ag. Oh! He is also a temp State Brand Inspector. A little while longer and he would be HACCP certified. It’s that time of the year though for calving then Branding and all that goes with full ranching and farming. So time to use that hot branding iron while it’s hot!

This move is definitely up and smart with cattle prices higher than when he started with us and we wish him the best in his new venture. A good young man making a good living for him and his family. Whether he decides to open his own place or join a different team he will be an incredible asset for sure.

To Matt and April, thank you both for letting your youngest enter our group. He is a gem and has a passion for butchering. It’s not always perfect in our line of work but we get through it the best possible way. He definitely feels it on Mondays🙂! Thank you guys and just want you to know we are so proud of him as you are!
