Sincere gratitude to all you amazing people who showed up to the Walla Walla Downtown Farmers Market this weekend and sold us out of not one, not two, but SIX items. Holy cow (pun intended) are we thankful for you! It was a great weekend, albeit a bit breezy, and we look forward to 2 more months of fun at markets with you all.

Saturday, August 29TH, 9am-1pm…where will you be? At the Walla Walla Downtown Farmers Market of course!

The weather is going to be perfect for a stroll downtown. We’ll have the protein you need for meals this week, and our fellow vendors will have all the delicious produce, baked goods, and other handcrafted items you could think of. See you there!

A few of my favorite things about Flanken Ribs...

1. They thaw quickly and grill quickly (getting the protein ready fast when you're busy and have hangry kids is important).

2. You can be feral and eat them with your fingers.

3. They are delicious hot off the grill, and delicious the next day reheated- after school snack win!

Seriously, these have become a staple in our dinnertime rotation. If you haven't tried them yet, here's your sign!

Last week we took a road trip to Flathead Lake in Montana and enjoyed the beauty of that area. On the way home we stayed one night at Three Rivers Resort in Kooskia, Idaho where the Lochsa and Selway rivers feed into the Clearwater. We will absolutely be back there ASAP – incredibly beautiful with the added bonus of ZERO cell phone service. Truly checking out was a delight.

We were also able to head up above Kamiah and visit the area that Dan spent lots of time as a kid at their family cabin and summer grazing ground. Being able to see the location in person that I’ve heard so many stories about was a highlight of the trip for me. The boys are pretty certain we need to go back and do some fishing in that area soon, and I don’t disagree.

Now they are back to school, starting in 2nd and 3rd grade last week. Time flies!

Tinkerbelle, you brought us so many years of joy. Rest in peace sweet girl. ❤️

Tink was a triplet, born at just over 1 pound with all the odds stacked against her. She was tiny her whole life and we were lucky to have nearly 7 great years with her - all of which she thought she was a human or a dog, definitely not a goat.

Our Market Bundle is a SMOKING deal this week, so be sure to check that out. Also, we are not going to be attending the market on August 15th, so if you typically shop weekly be sure to stock up now.
