Memorial Day Weekend is almost here – are you grilling? We are!

Come on down to the this Saturday and we’ll be ready to hook you up with your grilling needs. Our 2 suggestions if you’re cooking for a crowd :
1. Burger Patties. These come in 4 packs of 1/3 pound patties and are so quick and easy to grill up for the whole crew.
2.Skirt Steak. Thaw, marinade, grill, then slice to make for a seriously memorable Memorial Day meal.

Osso Buco is on sale currently for a whopping 50% off! This lesser known cut of beef can be prepared in a number of ways, and if you start googling recipes you'll find all sorts of options.

That said, let me share with you what we do with it most often...it's the easiest, and the whole family enjoys it.

1. Throw it in the crockpot before work - fully frozen, with a little bit of broth and whatever seasonings your family likes (I went salt, pepper, onion flakes and garlic salt).
2. Ignore it allllll day long.
3. Pull out the delicious meaty chunks and serve with your favorite sides - mashed potatoes and green beans were a must for us on a stormy night (comfort food for sure), but we've also had it with rice or pasta and whatever veggies we have on hand.

Super simple and savory meal. 🙌

We’re pretty excited about our new All Natural Snack Sticks!

We had quite the crew at the Downtown Farmers Market this weekend – it was truly a family affair. And thanks to T-Walla Walla by Original Design , we were all looking sharp in our new Thiessen Ranch t-shirts.

Thank you to every single one of you who stopped by and shopped – knowing that our beef (and/or eggs) was going to be a part of your Mother’s Day menu on Sunday was heartwarming to say the least. Our kids learn so much from all of you, and from this process of raising and selling foods. We’ll be back at it this Saturday, and don’t forget that we continue to make local deliveries throughout the week and ship beef around the PNW every Tuesday. So, if you can’t make it to the market, we can certainly still serve you one way or another!

Dan and I had so much fun visiting with everyone who visited the first outdoor of the season – thank you for stopping by and shopping. We’ll be back at it this Saturday, with lots of beefy goodness! It’ll be a full family affair this weekend - depending on when you stop by the booth you may see me, Dan, the boys, and even my mom (Wanda) working away to help you stock up on beef, eggs and more.

Now, just a few other thoughts as we head into the weekend…

❤️ It’s Mother’s Day weekend and I can assure you that Mom does NOT want to cook dinner or plan the menu. We can hook you up with your entree on Saturday at the market, and many of our other local vendors can cover the side dishes. It’s a great reason to come down and shop.

🐾 It was such a busy kick off last Saturday that I only took one picture the entire day. However, it was one very important picture – the Dog of the Day at market (it’s a thing, I just decided)! So many folks bring their 4-legged friends, and we love to admire them. This one in particular was just too cute to let pass by without a photo. Swipe over to see it, or hop on over to our stories.
