Days of our lives, silkie edition: my limited but tried and true little group of show pony silkies continue their pampered and diva ways. Sparkle is 2 now and her buddy, Becky is 3. Petunia continues to live in her own condo after returning from Seattle. After almost winning that whole show in Utah last year, Sparkle does not care to be upstaged in camp cupcake. Petunia is 3, almost 4 years old and tbh these hens get better every year 💫💙🕊️

August is the time I really focus in on the best group of the spring hatch birds and start to put the time in on them for the fall shows. I am very happy with the young group of Blues, Silver Blues, Red Pyle, and maybe even one surprise Birchen. Can’t wait for the fall shows 🙌👍

Today was an EXTRA special day here! What a huge treat to have Dee visit while she is on her Columbia River cruise tour!!! We had the best day ever going over birds here and visiting some Walla Walla highlights like aviary at Pioneer Park. Dee is not only a Sultan mentor but a great friend and wonderful lady. I always learn something from Dee every time she says something about the birds! Thank you Dee! This was a huge highlight of my year already 💙💙💫💫🐓🐓🕊️🕊️🕊️
