More then just an onion- it’s a legacy.
The Walla Walla Sweet Onion has been grown in the Walla Walla Valley for more then a century, with roots tracing back to the late 1800s when French soldier Peter Pieri planted sweet Italian seed in the region’s fertile soil. The unique combination of climate, soil, and generations of dedicated growers has made the Walla Walla Sweet Onion one or the PNW’s most treasured crops.
