The Gewurztraminer is Here! 🥂
We’re excited to introduce our Gewurztraminer, sourced from Arete Vineyard—home to our beautiful Chenin Blanc. This 42-year-old organic site is perched high atop Radar Hill, just outside Othello, WA.
These grapes are destined to become our Orange Cuvée pét-nat, one of our most popular wines. This blend showcases the four “noble” grapes of Alsace: Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, and Muscat, all sourced from three unique organic vineyards in Washington State.
In a good year—free from wildfire smoke or damage—each varietal is harvested at its optimal ripeness. We destem the grapes and allow for seven days of skin contact in the cool climate of our barrel room, employing gentle punch downs to avoid extracting excessive tannin.
Our goal is to create a wine that is expressive, fruit-forward, and textured, with just a hint of pleasant bitterness. We want these vibrant grapes to shine!✨
