"Another exceptional vintage, the 2023 Tempranillo Impulsivo is all varietal and balanced throughout in balsamic-laced black and red fruit. Grown at high elevation, the grapes were planted in 2000 and are rare in the state. Aged over 18 months in 40% new oak, it's a remarkably graceful yet powerful wine, richly medium-bodied with structure and firm tannins that add complexity to the rounded mouthfeel of gamey umami."
