We never seem to get many pictures at events because we’re too busy pouring wine and chatting with everyone, but we had such a fun evening at Southwind at Sunset. Thank you SagemoorEstates for sharing your beautiful space.

It was especially fun to preview our 2024 Southwind Vineyard Malbec, coming in this fall’s club release, while standing in the vineyard where it was grown.

And a little detail: the purple flower on the label was inspired by the same wildflower growing in the vineyard at Southwind. Peter picked this one from the vineyard that evening. 💜

Join us Thursday, August 13 for Southwind at Sunset at the Glass House, looking out over Southwind Vineyard.

We’ll be pouring our 2023 Block 28 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon plus an early preview of the unreleased 2024 Southwind Vineyard Malbec, with the vineyard that grew the fruit right in front of you.

This isn’t a formal tasting. It’s a summer evening with Devison and SagemoorEstates wines by the glass, live music from Total BS , big views, and optional picnic dinners (reserved in advance).

Bring a chair or a blanket, settle in, and watch the sun go down over the Walla Walla Valley.

It’s been a week, and honestly, we are still a little speechless.

When we started planning this DuBrul release dinner, we hoped it would be special. We could not have imagined it going any better.

A huge thank you to Chris, Island and the team at Saffron Mediterranean Kitchen Saffron Mediterranean Kitchen for absolutely nailing every pairing and somehow executing a seven-course dinner on-site at our winery. It was incredible to watch.

We’re also so grateful to Hugh Shiels of DuBrul Vineyard and Dick and Luanne Boushey of Boushey Vineyard for spending the evening with us and sharing their stories. Getting to sit around the table with the people who grow these remarkable vineyards is something we’ll never take for granted.

We can’t wait to share more from this year’s special evening!

Just sitting over here realizing the “backstock” on our rosé is officially down to my garage fridge and whatever is left hiding in the warehouse 😅
Checked inventory today and there are only about 20 cases of 2025 East of the Sun Rosé left. The winery inventory spot is officially empty (restocking Thursday!) … which means it’s almost time for me to start hoarding bottles at home for summer survival.
Dramatic? Yes. But if this is your warm weather porch/pool/lake wine, now’s probably the time to grab some before it disappears until next release ☀️🍷
