Thank you everyone who visited yesterday! We had a fantastic weekend with many first-time Muscadine Grape pickers and we appreciate all who came out and lightened the load on these peak-season vines! Open this coming weekend, Sat. Aug. 29 & Sun. Aug. 30, 2026 (7:30am-1:00pm) for U-Pick Grapes and Pre-Picked Market Sales. Pickers must check in at market before 12:30pm and finish picking by 1:00pm. 🍇U-PICK: Only Muscadine Grapes (Black Supreme, Ison and Bronze Fry varieties). Lots of grapes available for one of the best picking weekends of the year!

🟣OPEN FRIDAY, AUG. 14, 2026 (7:30am-1:00PM) FOR U-PICK MUSCADINE GRAPES. (If there are still ripe grapes left to pick FRIDAY after closing, we will open SATURDAY 8/15 and maybe SUNDAY 8/16/26, same hours.) Black Supreme, Ison and Bronze Fry muscadines are available for U-Pick, and maybe some PRE-PICKED grapes too. In addition, we have an assortment of home grown pre-picked vegetables and herbs for sale in the market (see photo). We plan to open Fri-Sat-Sun weekends 7:30am-1:00pm for a while, as ripe grapes are increasing in production now and they will reach peak in a few weeks, then taper off for a few more weeks. Again, we will be closed if we get picked out, so watch here or www.nealsberryfarm.com for the latest updates.

🔴Closed (Picked out) Sunday, 8/9/26. Next open will be 7:30am-1:00pm - Fri., Sat., & Sun (8/14, 15, & 16), depending on weather and availability of U-Pick Muscadine grapes. Any changes in schedule will be posted here and on www.nealsberryfarm.com.

🌟The fall Muscadine season just started this weekend, so ripe grapes were not as plentiful as they will be next weekend, so check back here later this week for any updates. We plan to be open the same 3-day weekends, same hours, for a few months (?), again, dependent on weather and availability of fruit. Muscadine harvest volume will build, then level off at peak, then decrease just like the blackberry season always does.

🌟The season for "Black Supreme" and "Ison" grapes are little earlier than the bronze, so their season will peak sooner. But for bronze grapes, we have "Fry" and "Late Fry," so the bronze season is extended due to having two varieties that look the same, but actually peak at different times. If you want black grapes, be sure to come earlier in the season or you may miss out.

🟣Blackberry season is officially over for 2026! The last day for blackberry picking was Friday, 6-26-26. We had planned to be open Sat. & Sun. (6/27 & 6/28/26) but y'all picked all the berries Friday and nothing is left for the weekend, so we will be closed!

🍇But good news--Market and U-Pick will be closed for a few weeks, then re-open Mid-Late July for U-Pick Muscadine Grapes and Market sales. Our 2 grape varieties are: Black “Supreme” Muscadine grapes and Bronze “Fry” Scuppernong Muscadine grapes, both excellent for fresh eating, jelly and wine. These are much larger and sweeter than the wild muscadines grown in this area.

📣LAST CALL FOR BLACKBERRIES! Open Fri., Sat. & Sun. June 26, 27 & 28, 2026 (7:30am-1:00pm) for the FINAL U-PICK BLACKBERRY DAYS this year! We will also have U-PICK FLOWERS and a market full of homegrown pre-picked veggies. After this weekend, we will close for a few weeks, then re-open for U-PICK MUSCADINE GRAPES. There are still LOTS of blackberries to pick, so come on out and pick your supply for your favorite blackberry recipes.

✅WHAT’S UP THIS WEEKEND:

U-PICK THORNLESS BLACKBERRIES: $7.00/lb

U-PICK FLOWERS– $5.00/fill a Solo Cup (Please do not pick Squash Blossoms)

PREPICKED VEGS FOR SALE IN MARKET: (prices vary): Tomatoes (many sizes and colors), Jalapenos, Serranos, Banana Peppers (hot & Sweet,) Yellow Squash, Zucchini, Cucumbers (Persian and Slicers), Eggplant, dried peppers, carrots, herbs.
NEW VARIETY: Remember the Heirloom Tromboncini Squash we had last year? This year we offer (pre-picked) Centercut Squash, an improved Tromboncini that is less watery than a zucchini, with a sweet, nutty flavor, great to roast or sautee. Give it a try!

✅TIME: Pickers must arrive and check in BEFORE 12:30pm and pay and depart by 1:00pm.

✅INFO: Bring your own picking box or purchase ours for $3.00. Entry fee $3.00/person/age 2 and up.

✅U-Pick OK in light rain, but not during lightning or threat of lightning. If we need to close due to weather or emergency, we will post a notice on this FB page and website homepage, so PLEASE check our social media before you drive out.
