The rain that we so desperately needed came in heavy waves over the weekend. It damaged a lot of the berries, causing them to either fall from the plant or swell until they burst.

But our wonderful u-pick friends were so gracious yesterday. They saw the good and picked nearly 150 lbs of fruit.

Today, we were able to clean up the field and tend to each individual plant. We are keeping a close eye and assessing ripeness each day. And these gallons of undesirable berries? Desirable to chickens! 🫐🐓🙌🏼

We have been picked out! 🙌🏼🫐 With over 150 amazing people at the farm today, the fields have been picked over and will need a few days to allow more berries to ripen. We plan to reopen on Friday & Saturday. Come join us for our next u-pick of the season! 👩‍🌾🚜☀️

I had to hop on this audio trend as soon as I heard it! A reel dedicated to the one and only Farmer Sean. He knows how to do it all. And if he doesn't, he'll figure out a way to find out. We are so thankful for him...even if his strong work ethic wears us out at times 🚜💪🏻👨‍👩‍👧‍👧
