Our Shadelands, Upstairs and Davis Taprooms will all be open early today at 12! Fairfield is open with regular hours today at 11:30.

We’ve got perfect Beer Garden weather in Walnut Creek for Memorial Day weekend! We are bringing back live music at Calicraft Shadelands on today! From 6-9pm we are going to have Chris Ahlman () - a Bay Area based Singer/Songwriter - performing out in our Shadelands Beer Garden. Going forward this Summer we will have regular live performers in the Beer Garden on Friday evenings.

100% grown in California - Waning Light Helles Lager is our California take on a Munich classic. We partnered with our friends over at Admiral Maltings () from Alameda to build this Helles around their Butta 12 Malt. Butta 12 was developed at UC Davis, is grown in the Sacramento Valley, and floor malted in Alameda. The Comet and Cashmere hops that we used are grown over in Tracy by Thomsen Hops () - who operate a third generation family run hop farm. Even our yeast is from California! We used Andechs from our friends over at Berkeley Yeast (). What you get in the glass is a Helles Lager the California way.

Clean and golden, with soft bready malt, a touch of honey and fresh bread, with a little more hop presence on the nose than you’d find in Munich. Grassy, faintly citrusy, and a dry finish - Waning Light Helles Lager is a beer we are extremely proud of. Cold, golden, and built for drinking.

This whiskey began with a simple idea: take the rich, roasted depth of an Imperial Stout and let time do the rest. Eight years in American oak barrels have transformed this bold beginning into something altogether different — smooth and velvety, with layers of black cherry, caramel, and sticky toffee that linger long after the glass is empty. A whisper of rich maple syrup on the nose compliments a brown sugar and earthy oak finish.
