We have 7 bouncing boys that are looking for a pasture of their own. Ram and wether options. All will be NABSSAR registered. Two have the option of dual registration with OEBSSR.

My last bred ewe lambed tonight bringing an end to our 2024 season!
I had eight ewes birth 13 lambs over 21 days. Giving us 7 ram lambs, 6 ewe lambs and 5 sets of twins! 😱😅
This was a tough season for me. I had ewe reject a lamb for the first time and had to let her go as a bottle baby. I also lost another lamb to pneumonia. These were both hard learned lessons for me and as I grateful as I am for all the sweet new babies on the ground, I am glad it is over for now too. Now I get to relax a little and watch all these little lambs grow healthy and strong. That’s the best part! 🥰🥰
Update: she has found a home 🥰
After a week of trying everything I could think of to get this little ewes momma to accept her, I’ve made the decision to offer her as a bottle baby. She has been nursing from mom thus far, but I can no longer continue to keep momma tied to allow this.
She is a week old, a twin and can be dual registered with NABSSAR and OEBSSR.
She is healthy and thriving and the sweetest little thing! She just needs someone to love her ❤️❤️
Please message the page if interested.
Mommin’ ain’t easy! No matter your species 😂😂
If I’m being honest, I needed this bit of humor tonight. Our lambing season has gotten off to a rough start. It’s just been one unforeseen problem after another and to say that I’m feeling a little defeated is an understatement. I’m my toughest critic and when things don’t go as planned, I really beat myself up for it. Coming out to the barn tonight and catching this goofy little moment reminded me why I love these sheep and that the hard moments are worth the struggle. Hoping the rest of our lambs come without a hitch 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Happy lambing everyone!
Following momma out of the barn for the first time today!
This sweet duo could not be any cuter! 😍😍
It was the perfect day for new babies in the barn!
I was greeted first thing this morning by this adorable set of twin lambs. Hezzie already had them up and clean and nursing. She’s a rockstar momma!
I also happened to go to the feed store today and there happened to be the chick truck there. I just couldn’t resist bringing some home with me! 🐥😍
Now to get everything prepped for this crazy temperature drop Missouri is giving us tonight 😅
Happy lambing everyone!
Our girls are due to start lambing any day now and I think poor Hezzie is over it 😆😆
Anyone want to guess how many she’s got in there? 🤔
These two boys are the last available for the season and are growing beautifully!
They are NABSSAR registered, tails docked, vaccinated and ready for their own flock in a few short weeks.

Happy Sunday everyone!
Formally introducing our lambs for the 2023 season!
We introduced a new breeding ram and I just love the offspring he gave us. They are strong, healthy and of course, adorable 🥰
All lambs are NABSSAR registered, have had CDT booster, tails docked and will be ready for pickup mid June.

We had new shearers out to the barn this year and we were so pleased with their work!
Shoutout to Oddball Homestead and Shearing for fitting us in your busy schedule and for the extra care and attention you showed our girls while shearing.
Happy sheep = happy shepherd 🐑 🥰
Babies, babies everywhere! 😍😍
We are wrapping up our lambing season and it has been a successful one! We went into breeding last fall with heavy hearts after unexpectedly losing our beloved Ralphie ram. That left us with no concrete plan for lambing this year. Thankfully, we were able to purchase a ram lamb from Allen Wags & Woolies and they also graciously lent us a seasoned ram so we wouldn’t miss out on our 2023 season.
The babies out of Argyle and my ewes are just lovely and I couldn’t be more pleased! Just a little reminder to look for the silver lining when your plans go awry.
These lambs are going to make excellent additions to any herd. We still have spots available on our waitlist so message me for details on how to reserve one of these sweet babies for your own!
We are about two weeks out from the start of the lambing season!
Hayes is making sure the girls get all their daily scratches ♥️
Buddy and William could not be any more unbothered by the snow.
Their shepherd, on the other hand, is dreaming of warm breezes and 9:00 sunsets 🥶😆
Presenting Live Action Ferdinand 😂
“Walker” was born in January and we unfortunately lost his mom to proplapse. So he became a bottle calf for my kids to care for.
All our bottle calves have stayed relatively gentle as they grow up but this boy is on a different level. He refuses to be a calf and stay in the pasture with the rest of the herd. Every day he bawls loudly at the gate until I let him out into the yard. Then, he spends his afternoon lazily meandering through my garden and flowers and filling his belly with our nice green yard grass.
Everyone loves a bottle calf, until they are making your zinnias dinner!
Hey, girl. . . hayyyyy!
Buddy loves his alfalfa so much, he took some to go.
We just returned from a wonderful week in the mountains. The Midwest welcomed us home with 100 degree temps and a yard that feels like ramen noodles as I walk across it. Times like these make me question why I live here 😆 If you all are the praying kind, please pray for rain. It’s getting pretty rough around here.
Just out here boopin’ cow snoots and living the dream 🐮♥️
Making some garden goodies today!
I absolutely love cucumbers straight off the plant, but pickles are a main food group for my kids so we took a break from the MO heat and to make a few batches of refrigerator dills. All the pickle goodness without the canning hassle. Now to wait patiently while they marinate 😋
Despite this SWMO heat, my garden seems to be happy. These sugar baby melons are a new addition this year and it looks like they are going to be a keeper. Can’t wait to taste them!
I was supposed to be done hatching chicks for the year, but this hen went broody and I just couldn’t resist. There is nothing sweeter than a momma hen and her chickies 🐣🐣
Horn alert!!
This sweet little bull calf is getting a start on his set of horns. All my longhorn calves ended up being boys which means I can’t keep them 😭 Just look at him though. He is going to make one beautiful bull!
These four handsome boys are ready to fly the coop!
I had a hard time deciding which Roos to keep out this bunch. They are all so sweet and with two little kids, temperament is a big deal in our barn. Sadly, I have to let these go. They will be a great addition to your flock!
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted, but this beautiful Midwest weather has us doing all the things!
This week we visited our local strawberry patch C & S Farms. Their strawberries are delicious and picking has become my kids favorite thing to kick off the summer each year. Today was jelly making day. I had some pretty cute helpers who will no doubt polish off these jars in no time 😋 I love being able to fill the freezer with fresh food for the family.
A little peek at spring on the ranch.
I love the warm sunshine.
The cows love the green grass.
And Holly. . . Holly loves mud 😆
The shearers came this week and everyone is feeling fancy fresh.
Meanwhile, I’m wondering what these hairless critters are grazing my pasture.
Happy Easter from our barn to yours!
