Yesterday was my first time joining California Farm Bureau at the Capitol to meet with legislators and talk about issues impacting agriculture. Honestly, I was nervous going into it, but Farm Bureau did such a great job helping us understand the policies beforehand and preparing us for the conversations.

By the end of the day, I felt confident, educated, and like I truly made a difference. It reminded me how important it is for farmers and ranchers to have a voice.

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved with your local or state Farm Bureau, this is your sign to do it. 🌾

This Farm Workers Day, we honor the strength, resilience, and dedication of the people behind our food.

Thank you for the work you do that so often goes unseen. I personally would not be where I am today without you. 🌱
