I was sick at least once a month. I reached a weight of 250 pounds and knew it was time for a change! A couple of friends introduced me to juicing and it changed my lifestyle entirely for the better! I started with a five-day juice cleanse, having one juice every two hours. Simultaneously, I began eliminating sugary drinks (Coca-Cola and Pepsi) and fast food. I began a 30 min per day walking routi

ne and eventually incorporated a hiking component. I replaced a meal a day with a juice and within one year, I lost 50 pounds. Since my journey began, I have educated myself on real Native foods, learned to cook with fresh ingredients, lost more weight, and have maintained a healthy weight by eating clean and juicing. Now I am sharing my story and juice recipes to help you live a healthy lifestyle.
