We are pleased to announce that our current Bethlehem Area Vo Tech Co-Op student, Parker recently competed in the Skills USA - Plumbing competition held at the Allentown Ag Hall - he placed 1st amongst his peers and will be advancing to the State Competition in April in Hershey.

Do you have grayish white file in your sinks, tub or on your dishes? Experience reduced suds in your laundry? Do your water heater elements fail frequently ? Find a scale in you coffee pots?

If so this is caused by the hardness of your water. Hardness is due to the amount of calcium and magnesium that is dissolved from bedrock. There is no drinking standard but a hardness level above 7 grains per gallon is most likely the cause.

A solution we can provide you with is an Ion exchange water softener. This softener exchanges calcium and magnesium for sodium or potassium.

Bellview Pump Sales & Service is hiring a full-time Plumbing and Sewer Service Technician to join our team. Located in Walnutport, PA, Bellview Pump Sales and Service has been providing quality service to the residents of Northampton, Lehigh, Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Bucks, Luzerne and Schuylkill counties and surrounding communities since 1974. Family owned and operated, we provide a wide range of services to residential, commercial and industrial customers.

Candidates for this position should be courteous, professional, and knowledgeable in performing, plumbing, water treatment system installation and repairs, sewer installation and repairs, water pump, heater and tank installation and repairs and possess excellent trouble shooting skills. Candidates should work well with others, have good communication skills, and a willingness to learn. Valid driver’s license a must - CDL is preferred but not required. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience required but will training the right person. Other preferred skills but not required include backhoe operating experience, hoist truck, welding, drain snake/water jetting, electrical knowledge. Weekend, holiday and emergency work as needed.

This position is full time and offers opportunities for overtime. Our employees earn an experience-based hourly wage starting at $15.00 – and up depending upon experience. You would also be eligible for benefits such as health insurance, paid time off (PTO), holidays, and a work environment where you feel like family!
