Hello everyone, needed to let people know that we are not hosting maple Sunday this year. While we appreciate the community support we have seen over the years, this season’s sap flow has been at best erratic, and led to our decision. Maine’s department of agriculture should have a list up of participating sugar houses. Thank you!

Good afternoon everyone, I have had a few calls and messages about Maine Maple Sunday. So I felt that I should post again, we are NOT hosting maple Sunday this year. Sorry to disappoint, we hope next year will be back to normal and a better year for syrup production as this year hasn’t been. Thank you all! Adam

Hello everyone, I hope you are all surviving this crazy year! I have been getting some calls and messages about maple Sunday so I am posting an official statement. Although the state has cleared sugar houses to open to the public with guidelines, my family and I will not be hosting the event this year, it was simply too much to tackle. So far for us it has been a off year for collecting sap, we have only boiled a few times.( 2021 will be better, right?) Sorry to disappoint , we have always appreciated your patronage. I know many of you are making syrup with kids this year, if you have and maple related questions feel free to ask, I’ll help if I can. Until next time, thanks Adam.

Sorry folks but a tough decision had to be made. It’s with deep regret that we will not be hosting Maple Sunday here at Rice Farm due to the recommendations of the Maine CDC announced today. I want to be clear that I made this decision out of concern for my community. Given what we know (and don’t know), it would be irresponsible to create a gathering at this time. We do have 2020 syrup for sale. Feel free to contact us directly to arrange pickup.🍁
