In case you needed to know the fate of our "special" pumpkin, January 16th & still going strong! Don't forget to tell your non-Facebook friends about our CSA/pre-buy program.
Share far and wide! This is a chance for you to help us, and for us to offer you a discount for the upcoming season!
That's a wrap, folks! The last tree is sold so we're closing up for the winter. We'll be in and out tomorrow to pack up and meet with vendors, stop by for some last minute gifts or to see what we have left. Hours will be 'by chance' as we put things away. Thank you all for a wonderful 48th(ish) season and for your continued support of our family farm.
We've shoveled ourselves out and the power is ON at Pete's, so stop in for Christmas trees, McNamara milk, bread & baked goodies, or locally made Christmas gifts. We also have Pete's shirts, hoodies, and gift certificates. We will be closing for the season early next week.
❄️ It's our final weekend of the season! John is picking up one last load of fresh trees, so there will be a great selection for the weekend. Last McNamara delivery is Friday; Bread Shed & Orchard Hill will deliver Saturday. We're open Friday & Saturday 10-7, Sunday 10-6. Monday & Tuesday TBD. Stay safe tomorrow and we hope to see you one last time before our "long winter's nap" ❄️
Don't delay, get your tree today! Freshly cut trees just in, we expect to sell out early next week, so don't wait too long. Once we are out of trees we will close for the season, but until then our hours are Sunday-Thursday 10-6, open 10-7 Friday and Saturday.
Happy (almost) December! We have a great selection of VT grown Christmas trees, fresh handmade wreaths, and some lovely locally crafted gift items. Beeswax candles from Winter View Farm, slate and wooden items from Celt Crafts- plus their scented soy candles, wooden ornaments and old-fashioned toys. Hot cocoa bombs, scented soaps, or fudge all make great secret Santa gifts! Winter hours are in effect, so we open at 10am daily.
Our first trees of the season have arrived!
There is still plenty of time to shop for your local-vore Thanksgiving! We have sweet potatoes, onions, winter squash (butternut, buttercup, acorn, spaghetti, kuri), and more. We have McNamara dairy products, rolls & breads from Orchard Hill and Bread Shed, and lovely pies from Sweet Treats by Jen. Turkeys (for those who reserved one) will be ready beginning Monday mid-morning. Wreaths are being made daily and fresh cut trees arrive next week! After the Holiday we will adjust our hours, so please plan accordingly. We will announce our last day for the season as that time approaches, it will be shortly before Christmas.
We love the change of the seasons! Stop by and stock up on local produce, milk (eggnog!), baking spices, pies and rolls. Now selling our own handmade fresh wreaths, Vermont-grown trees coming early next week!
Plenty of great veggies still available at Pete's! Winter squash, potatoes, onions, sweet potatoes galore! (For a limited time)We still have field grown cucumbers, and our great selection of locally baked sweets & breads, plus staples like milk, cheese, meat, maple syrup and more. Open daily 9-6 until Thanksgiving, then switching to "Winter hours" (TBA) for Christmas tree and wreath sales
Reminder- Pete's will close at 4pm today so staff can enjoy Trick or Treat with their families. Open daily 9-6pm otherwise.
The weekend (and with it the COLD weather) is almost here- this is the very last corn of the season- $5/dozen, pumpkins are all $4 or less, winter squash is .60/# (bushels of butternut $20, all other varieties $25). Lots of great apples and last of the season cucumbers and lettuce! Reminder that we are closing at 4pm on Monday so we can get home before the little ghouls and goblins come out!
Part two of Thanksgiving pre-order information- now accepting pie, rolls, and dairy orders. We will have some of these items available for pickup without pre-ordering, but ordering ahead reserves your items and helps us plan!
We have had lots of interest/questions about Thanksgiving orders- here is some information to get you started on your planning for the holidays. We will offer pre-orders for rolls, baked goods, pies, eggnog, heavy cream/milk products, and (of course!) turkeys! Please see the information here AND keep an eye out for more information to come. Please EMAIL [email protected] with any questions (facebook messenger for 'pages' is unreliable).
Friday evening reminder that this weekend is the perfect time to come in for a great selection of pumpkins, and pick up some winter squash, apples and (gasp!) sweet corn! Plenty of other tempting treats too. See you soon!

You know what they say, "No farms, no Farm Girls" The crew had a great time picking & unloading pumpkins this weekend (and some late season watermelon too!) FRESH picked pumpkins in all shapes, colors, and sizes. Pictured are "Darling"- tall unique pie pumpkins that are the perfect "Bert" to your "Ernie". Open 9-6 daily.
These little pumpkins were so cute we couldn't resist sharing them- we have pumpkins of every shape, size, and color- but we're really excited about these tiny, "just right for painting & little hands" pumpkins. Stop in this weekend for a great selection and pick up a bushel of butternut squash ($20!) or your choice of buttercup, acorn, spaghetti ($25/bushel). Delicata & honeynut available ($25/half bushel). Our last delivery of mums for the season is arriving soon and we just picked a fresh truckload of corn stalks.
It might be rainy 🌧 but there are plenty of reasons to stop by Pete's today! Our four local meat producers- Brookfield Farm, Iron Kettle Farm, Fischer Farm, and Britton Farm- have all stopped in and filled our freezer to the BRIM. We have (our own) $5 watermelons, Teresa visited the Ziomek Farm and came back loaded with onions, we have fresh sweet potatoes just in. Cortland and Macs just in as well. Truly too many things to list here- we're open 9-6 daily (rain or shine) so stop by and see us!
Happy Saturday! We have an abundance of amazing plants and produce! Beautiful mums, squash, corn, peppers, apples, Indian corn decorations and more. Open daily from 9-6, it’s a gorgeous day to shop for local produce!
Just in! First of the season Cortland & Gala. Fresh Macs & Honeycrisp too
The forecast says we're in for some crisp fall weather. More mums & asters arriving tomorrow afternoon! Beautiful pumpkins, gourds, winter squash, cornstalks (plus apples, cider, and baked treats!) available now to help you welcome in fall. Plus, just between us and the fence post, Teresa ordered SO much cheese this week- you should check out the cheese cooler, there's sure to be something you haven't tried yet!
It's that time of year when some crops are coming in a little slower and we might not have them on the stand each and every day- we'll do our best to keep up, but as you've probably noticed, the nights are cooler & the days a bit shorter so some crops (like cucumbers!) may sell out. The good news is that our winter squash and pumpkins are coming along nicely!
We are open 9-6 each day this Labor Day weekend, and we've got everything you need for a great end of summer barbecue
Cider from our friends in Hollis, NH! Happy and safe "back to school" day to you all
To say the past few weeks have kept us busy would be an understatement- it's that beautiful but hectic time of year when the summer veggies are at their peak (have you SEEN the size of our peppers?) but Fall is calling to us- we're beginning our harvest of butternut, delicata, and honeynut squash- apples are coming in, along with some early pumpkins and gourds to go along with our mums & asters. We're open 9-6 daily, including Labor Day weekend!
Just got a beautiful delivery of hanging baskets, potted plants and flowers for fall! We can’t wait for the mums to bloom 🌸🌻 Come check out the amazing arrangement! We are open from 9am-6pm daily!
Corn? We've got it. This is our Stand staff favorite corn of the season (so far), "Rosie" is a great corn to can or freeze, so if you're looking to put some by for the winter, this is the one we recommend!
Melons, $2.50! Canning Tomatoes, $30/ box!
Just in! Peaches from Brookdale Fruit Farm in Hollis, NH
Fresh out of the field, dirt & all! Now is a great time for making pickles- 25# for $30, full bushels for $50. Smaller quantities available too!
Are you sitting down? We have big news.... (our own sweet corn starting Friday)!
Now is the time for pickles!
Happy Monday! Blueberries and pickling cucumbers are ready and beautiful, and so are our sunflowers!
