Today is Saturday, Aug 8. This week we have a few special items that may be of interest-

Fresh figs - Tiffany supplied a limited amount of her figs. Get them before they are gone!

We know there are a few vendors in town with Rocky Ford cantaloupe- we have cantaloupe grown in the San Luis Valley. From the only farmer there growing them!

We have organic Palisade peaches and nectarines too.

New: Mulay’s meatballs and Italian Sausage. River Road Farm bacon, sausage and chorizo.

And, if you are leery of store lettuce- we have fresh greens and other produce from local growers.

As always, we have fresh bread and baked goods, cold drinks, goat cheese and yogurt and all the other favorites.

Stop by Thursday- Sunday from 10am to 5:30pm at 623 W 7th Street in Walsenburg.

Today is Friday, 6-19 and we are happy to have a fully stocked fridge and freezer, lots of fresh bread and - yes - tomatoes, zucchini and more.

Today is Saturday, June 6 and it is feeling toasty! We hope everyone is enjoying the day.

We restocked our meat freezer with favorites and picked up some new lamb options: lamb brats, stew meat, kabobs and summer sausage.

New this week: bulk fresh mushrooms. These guys are beautiful and so good.

Wahatoya Gardens dropped off more plant starts and we still have lots of fresh sourdough bread and baked goods.

Stop by Thursday-Sunday from 10am to 5:30pm.

Friday 5/15/26: It is a beautiful day to get out and enjoy while checking out the new dog park in Walsenburg. Stop by the store to grab some picnic items or some restocked Wacharas Ranch freeze dried dog treats.

Wahatoya Garden also has more plant starts for sale here in the store. Get a head start on your garden!

We are officially shifting gears for the season! Whether you walk, bike, blade, or board, it's time to get moving together. We’re even adding some water and trail adventures to the mix!

New Summer Schedule:
The days stay the same, but we’ve adjusted the times to fit the season:

Sundays: 4:00 PM

Mondays: 8:00 AM

Wednesdays: 12:00 PM (Noon)

Thursday, May 7:

Just a reminder that tomorrow Sandy Dolak and Charlene Velarde are coming in the store to sell cookies and cookbooks.

We also still have Wahatoya Gardens’ starter plants that are ready for planting.

Saturday, May 2:

It is a beautiful day and it is time to start thinking about planting. Wahatoya Gardens brought in these amazing starter plants this week to help you jumpstart your garden.

Fresh basil, parsley and oregano; spinach, lettuce, microgreens, and jalapeños

We also restocked our shelves and brought in some new products to try. Lots of sourdough bread and bakery still available too.

Open today until 5:30pm and tomorrow 10am to 5:30pm.

Side note: Did anyone else see a crane in a field in LaVeta? Am I crazy?
