I just want to say something here. This post isn't towards anyone in particular just a horrible situation. I have been breeding bloodhounds for almost 30 years. All of my dogs are at the very least have prelims for hips and elbows as well as hearts examined. With this being said. It is NOT cheap! When you ask the people with pups if dogs are health tested. The normal answer,I have been seeing is, we take our dogs to the vet. Not good enough! People breed the dogs just to breed or make money...not good enough! Know your dogs pedigree...know your dogs health issues test for them before breeding. There is NEVER room to say it was an "Oops Litter" people the shelter is FULL! Quit breeding. I take back my dogs at anytime during their life. I microchip All my pups before they leave. I know if they were to ever wind up in a shelter. I ask no questions...just get my babies back. Unless you are willing to do this....Don't breed! Don't breed Mutts aka designer dogs. Recently, the economy has been HORRIBLE that is a direct cause of people not buying all these puppies. Please don't breed!
