Yesterday was such a beautiful day to hang out with the pigs, sheep, ducks, & LGDs.

Poppy and Ellie Mae are the sweetest piggies. In there perfect world I would never stop petting them. 🤣

All the ram lambs and Spot leave Friday and Saturday. It’s always bitter sweet to see them go.

Freya is the best girl that absolutely loves all her animals and adapts to anything we throw at her.

I just love how green and beautiful May and June are on the farm.

Who trims sheep locally?
Opal specifically needs trimmed. I need someone that will not be rough. You can lay her down if needed but don’t pull on her legs.
My body just isn’t allowing me to do it and I want someone that knows what they are doing to get them shaped correctly.
I need to look at the rest but I think she might be the only one.

In search of a Black and white Spotted Katahdin, Katahdin/ St Croix or Katahdin/ Dorper or a mix of the 3.
Ewe prefer a yearling but would also consider a ewe with twins on her side (1 being a spotted ram lamb would be nice).

Absolutely no horns
Good shedding parents
Great Parasite resistance
Good conformation

The other day I went and sat on the ground under a tree and 1 by 1 they came over and laid down around me. By the end I had all of them laying around me but when I got up they followed to quickly for me to get a picture. Sheep are just so peaceful and full of heart. 🥰🐑
Now Olive on the other hand is all sass but she did come lay 10 feet from me so I’m gonna call that a win. 🤣

I just love these wildflowers with the most adorable heart petals. What looks like a w**d could very well be the sweetest heart shaped flowers. I’m gonna believe my momma sent them to me to say she loves me. Her yellow room with the lace curtains was my favorite.

Thank you to everyone.
We will still be posting pictures of the babies because they are so cute and so much fun.
They will start heading home the first week of June and we will be sad to see them go as always but happy for there new owners.
Already looking forward to lambing season 2027 just praying it’s a little less dramatic and it should be since Opal will not be having babies.

Thinking about banding the rams and keeping them until fall if we don’t get deposits this week.
Katahdin/ Dorper crosses
Bred for parasite resistance, hardiness, ease of shed, and good teeth and feet.
Ready to go at 8 weeks.
