---For Sale - "Boots" 3 y/o gelded Clydesdale out of Black Magic; turning 4 in June
Stabled in Northern NJ (Sussex) @ Country High and offered for 12, 5 🥕🥕.
Broke to ride English and Western. Completed his first hunter pace at 2 (Lord Sterling), and spent winter (25/26) with the Amish sharpening his skills undersaddle and on the ground.
Healthy, sound, OTD shots/worm, barefoot (6 week trim schedule), in work - lesson program, private events, and trail rides. Absolute star of the show everywhere he goes, and very used to all the attention a stunning Clydesdale attracts. Boots definitely knows how to smile for the camera 😉.
PPE - yes. Demo ride available on site in ring, round pen and trails.
Willing to work but no bolt, bucking, spook, or rear.
Ground work/pony rides anyone can get on his back. He minds very well.
Undersaddle - benefits from a assertive rider (he’s 3)
Great in a stall (no crib) or outside. Easy keeper, in spring and summer I put a grazing muzzle on him. Likes to play with others, currently out with three thoroughbred geldings and a draftcross. I don’t see him being a problem with mares. Not the alpha.
Show - hasn’t yet, but plenty of potential there. Very smart horse, eager to please, exceptionally trainable.
Beautiful W/T/C - really have to see - backs, goes over poles/jumps, trail rides, swims, water crossings, squares up, stands for mounting block, poses for pictures, pony rides, events, parties, hunter paces, willing and confident. He gets along with everyone. He will ride out alone or as a group. He has been desensitized to it all - cows, dogs, turkeys, deer, foxes, goats, banging stuff (we live next to a quarry), tractors, balloons, hula hoops, pool noodles you name it! We are very hands on with all our horses, and especially Boots.
