Well… not your usual horse show pic!… we battled it out today for a very loooooooooong x-rail hunter division…. Deni and Toby came away with an amazing 2nd and 3rd over fences out of an impressive 28 entries!!! We opted to nix the flat so we wouldn’t have to pick deni and Toby up off the floor! So proud of these two! And thankful for Andrea McCave and family for hanging in there with us!!!( even though Toby deserved to be in the photo he is happily at home eating his dinner and resting!!!)

First day of the fair is a wrap! And it wouldn’t be the fair without weird weather… rainy then steamy! Deni and Toby were champion in the open equitation!!… and then had some great “learning” moments in the 2’ hunters… complete with a 7th place ribbon over fences out a large group…. Sophia put Bonnie’s “big girl” pants on and got great ribbons(4,4,5) in the 2’ hunter as well… and finally Scarlett and Bonnie did awesome in leadline(3,4,4)… so proud of our kids! On to tomorrow!

About 4 days late posting…. I do believe that’s how long it took me to warm up and dry out!!! First benefit show of the season was a soaker! But Sophia, Ryleigh and Scarlett all toughed it out…. As well all three on new mounts… they rode great and came away with amazing ribbons… so proud!

Day 3 of fair week! Deni’s debut in the beginner rider with Bonnie posed some hiccups and challenges but she pushed through and ended with a 7th in her under saddle class! Bri and Toby came away with 11th place in the 2’6 non-pro hunter derby out of big group! It was a long day but so proud of our girls!!
