The Circle of Life

We have been watching The Lion Guard around here lately, and they talk constantly about respecting the circle of life. Living on a farm is exactly that! We respect our animals and as they live out their lives happy and healthy, they complete their journey by providing my family and our community with nutrient-dense food.

A couple of weeks ago, we loaded Beginning onto the trailer and sent him on his way to his final step in the journey. Adley asked me if I was sad, and I had to explain to her that he would be missed, but that this was always his destiny. I loved watching that boy grow and graze out on the pasture. He was a good boy, and we are all thankful for him!

As his journey ended, a new one began. This week his mama, Bianca, had another baby boy. A full brother to Beginning. We will love him and enjoy him until the circle of life makes another round.

Everyone, meet Beshte! We are hoping he takes after Beshte off The Lion Guard, and he is strong and friendly 🫶

We have a small restock on some Just Ingredients products. We will be putting a large order in here shortly if anyone has any requests. NEW flavor of the snack protein bars. We got the Mint Chocolate since the Chocolate Chocolate Chip has been sold out for a bit.

We also restocked the TrulyFree Laundry, Oxy, and Dishwasher Soap.

The little meat nuggets went out on pasture yesterday. They are loving the grass and bugs, and hopefully, we will get some sunshine for them here soon. The unexpected amount of rain today has not bothered them at all, luckily.

This means that in about 5 weeks we will have a restock of chicken breasts after our first chicken processing of 2026. 🥰

Y'all also sold me out on ramen noodles again 😳. I have another order in (even bigger this time) and I am hoping it will be here by the end of the week.

Another shoutout to an amazing company that came on Friday to do some work for us! Thank you to Family Roots Tree Service, LLC. for cleaning up along the large pasture. They worked quickly and had everything cleaned up and hauled away. Thank you, Derek, for getting this job done and also for delivering some wood chips for my garden and animals. 🥰
