Our up-and-coming boy. Meet Junior (our chicken names need a little help). He was hatched here in April and quickly became a favorite of the kids. He was so cute with his fluffy cheeks and he looked just like Chocolate, one of our roosters, as a chick. Now that he is growing into a big boy he looks just like our other rooster Ironman and nothing like Chocolate. So the name Junior still fits but he is no longer Chocolate Jr but Ironman Jr.

He is a friendly boy who likes to hang out by the cow barns. I think he will be a good addition to the boys' club. That will make 4 permanent boys here to help protect our girls. He joins Ironman, Chocolate, and Lance.

We are pretty much done with grazing for the year. They will get hay tomorrow on a small spot of pasture as we move into the cooler months.

Elida people we are looking for you!

We have a wonderful group of ladies in our herdshare program who pick up milk on Tuesdays and are looking to add 1 or 2 new people to their rotation. If you are interested in getting a herdshare for raw milk and would love to drive to the farm only once a month or less, please contact us.

I can't say it enough…

We have the best customers!!!

Y'all went crazy over our milk-fed pork and sold us out of brats and bacon quickly. We do still have a few packages of ground sausage but they won't last long. We have an appointment for 2 more pigs this month, but we probably won't be restocked until early November. We are thrilled that y'all love it as much as we do, so we already have our winter piglets ordered 🐖🥰

There will be no more poptarts until October! Our amazing baker, Brianna, got married last weekend and is enjoying her honeymoon and much deserved time off.
