Just a reminder, we'll have the trailer set up at GR8 Vines Winery tonight from 5-9, plus the shop is open until 8. We also have caramel sea salt Gelato if anyone wants to try a sample at the shop. We still have some blood orange sorbet that is very good, and reminiscent of the orange push pops. Sorbet is dairy free, and Gelato has 98% less fat than regular ice cream.

We want to thank everyone who stopped in and got pizza at the shop today! It was one of the best days we've had to date! We also want to thank our work family for working so hard tonight while Kelly and I were catering a graduation party. Thank you Heidi Fuller for trusting us to cater your son's graduation party tonight! We absolutely love doing catering events and talking to all of the new people that we meet. This has been an amazing journey so far, and we have so many people to thank for help getting us here. The shop will be open normal hours on Saturday, plus we'll be running the trailer at Winona Lake Campground - Lima, Ohio from 4-830.

We have a couple of exciting updates! First, Raines Management Group, LLC is building us a new website that should be done in a couple of weeks. Second, we should have Gelato available in a month or possibly a little sooner. We've just been waiting on our display case which is on backorder. We'll be tearing out the ugly red wall and replacing it with the display freezer, as well as redoing the countertop with something nice. We want to do a lot to the shop, but we have to do it in small steps. Any extra revenue we have goes into the shop. We've pretty much buried ourselves in work so we can do some upgrades.
This week alone we have 5 days booked with our trailer on top of running the shop. We couldn't do this without the amazing employees that we have. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us. We're a very small business right now, but we want to grow so that we can offer you more. Also, if you're in the shop and you want to try a sample of blood orange sorbet, please let us know and we'll let you try some absolutely free. We were supposed to get butter pecan Gelato, but we somehow ended up with the sorbet instead. If you like the old push pops, you'll love the blood orange sorbet. All of the sorbets are only 4 ingredients with zero dairy. The Gelato we will be offering is 98% fat free, and a great, lower calorie alternative to ice cream. Our display case will have 7 different flavors, and we will probably do 4 or 5 Gelato, and 2 or 3. I apologize for the lengthy post, but we like to keep everyone informed of what's going on at Apollo Pizza. Thank you all!
