One of the greatest gifts of being a small winery is the relationships we build with the people who walk through our doors.
When you become a wine club member, you invest in us—but over the years, we come to invest in you, too. We get to know your families, celebrate your milestones, share countless glasses of wine and, most importantly, share time together.
Today, we are remembering one of our very special wine club members, who recently passed away.
She was one of those people who seemed to bring a little more light into every room. She always had a smile on her face, sketchpad in hand, and she LOVED to dance. Her joy was contagious, and her presence will be deeply missed.
Her family has been such a cherished part of our Freehand family, and we feel incredibly grateful for all the years, celebrations, conversations, laughter and memories we've shared together.
We often say that our wine club is about more than wine—and moments like this remind us why.
Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your lives, and for becoming such a meaningful part of ours.
We will raise a glass, remember her beautiful smile, and save a little room on the dance floor for her.

It's a packed weekend at Freehand Cellars!

Our balls are bigger than yours—and you can come see them tomorrow night at Moonlight! Yes, we’re talking about the giant decorations we’ve been putting together for the party. If you haven’t heard about Moonlight yet, here are ALL THE THINGS: Friday, July 24 at Freehand Cellars • General admission is from 6–10 PM • VIP check-in is from 3:30–5:30 PM ($45) • Dress in white and khaki • Tickets are $70 • Your ticket includes a welcome drink, two drink tickets, a commemorative Moonlight glass, ice cream and late-night snacks • DJ Big Ern Productions () will keep the dance floor going all night • Professional dancers will be joining the party • Stilt Walker • Food trucks will be onsite ( & ) • Tattoos will be available • VIP guests get early check-in, first choice of tables, an appetizer hour and a special welcome cocktail.
