The boys fun run is this Friday. They have a little over $800 left to reach their own personal goal. And the school has only raised 1/5th of the overall goal for this years fun run. The school library desperately needs the windows replaced and the classrooms are super limited on their athletic equipment. We’d love to help our dear little school once more before we leave. Even if you can only give $5, every little bit helps!

Spent the morning picking melons with dad. We picked three truck loads and the stand is now FULL! Come see us on Sunday to get your end of summer melon fix! Israel, Crenshaw, Hami, Honeydew, Golden Honeydew, Canary, Santa Claus, Cantaloupe, Mini yellow seeded and red seedless watermelon, large yellow seedless and red seeded/seedless watermelon all available in the stand on Sunday. 🍈 🍉

We will be open tomorrow with limited items in the farm stand. Garlic and Upick peppers are the main items available. Some pre picked tomatoes will also be available, but greatly limited. Call before you travel to check availability.

The things we do for our kids!

Long story short, our kids attend a small private school and they are in need of some playground upgrades, technology upgrades and major repairs to the sprinkler system. So they are holding a “Fun run” this Friday. My boys started off with lofty fundraising goals and much to my surprise, they surpassed them. They are now tied for second place for overall earnings, and of course they want to push for 1st and earn a class party for their whole class. So, here we are, exhausting any resource we can to help them. They each need to raise a minimum of $320 to jump them into the first place slots.
