Slow Cooker Chocolate Turtles 🎄🍫

Ingredients:

2 cups pecan halves
1 (14 oz) bag caramel candies, unwrapped
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable oil

Directions:

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Arrange pecan halves in small clusters of 3-4 nuts each to form the "turtle" base. Set aside.
In a slow cooker, add the caramel candies and heavy cream. Cover and set the slow cooker to LOW. Cook for 1-2 hours, stirring every 20-30 minutes, until the caramel is melted and smooth.
Using a spoon, carefully drizzle about a tablespoon of melted caramel onto each pecan cluster, ensuring the nuts stick together. Let the caramel set slightly, about 15 minutes.
Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in the slow cooker (clean it first) or in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Spoon melted chocolate over each caramel-covered pecan cluster, covering the caramel completely.
Allow the turtles to cool at room temperature or place them in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
