Our first farm tour of the year will be held next Saturday 3/14 at 10am! Come see where your produce comes from and learn more about the processes we use, our oak woodland restoration project, and the farm’s history. Tickets are available on the Bioway Farm website linked in our bio, under the “visit” tab. Hope to see y’all there!

First transplants of the season are in as of a week ago! Sugar snap peas in the high tunnel. Also keep an eye out for our starter plants in the coming days!

Over the past couple weeks tarps have been deployed and seeds have been started in the greenhouse! Our spring season is just around the corner

This Saturday, December 6th, we will be attending the mill Street Market in Taylors from 10am-2pm. .Bringing all of our seasonal veggies, including everyone's favorite (carrots). We look forward to seeing all of you, and if you have any questions, feel free to reach out and ask.

I found these two crazy cool lepidoptera species today as I was going about my day. One in the adult (moth)stage and one in the larva (caterpillar) stage. Discovering the biodiversity in these oak forests never gets old. These are the latest organisms added to the farm’s project.

On October 11, as part of our monthly second Saturday farm tour we’re having a bonus event. Our friend, Tommy Leonard from will be joining us and together will discuss all things tree crops: Orcharding, Silvopasture-horticulture etc. Tommy will demonstrate the use of a frame and water levels and together we’ll plant a couple of Asian persimmons. Admission for both events is an affordable $20 or singly for $10. Tickets can be found at our website on the Visit page. We hope to see you!

Our new high tunnel that we've been working on this week is finished. This tunnel was part of a grant from NRCS . Everyone on the farm pitched in to help us get it done in such a short time. The dimensions are 16ft×100ft and we plan on putting in one more, possibly by the end of the year!

Our crop guardian Great Pyrenees Molly was featured in this post by WWOOF-USA! Now she has Rudy to help her part time in keeping the deer off our crops.
