Wagon is just about ready for our first official hay ride for Flat Brook Farm and Sugar House. We will be running it at the Warren tree lighting ceremony this Saturday from 4-8. Come check it out. Michelle will be in the Shepard Building selling some of her crafts also.

So starting a new farm venture. We are going to offer tractor drawn hay rides in one of my hay wagons that is outfitted with a set of folding steps. Working out what pricing will be. If anyone is interested, reach out!

So unfortunately we will not be boiling this year. I am spending the winter and spring in my woods cleaning brush and fallen trees. I have to run bigger lines for sap so need to clear the debris so I can see where I'm running, not get attacked by pickers and create a more productive sugar bush that will allow tours of the process. We do still have syrup left from tge 2024 season if anyone needs some. I'll keep everyone posted!

So hay is done, equipment is put away or off to get maintained for the most part. For the second year in a row, we are more than happy to loan out a tractor and wagon to Quaboag Church in Brookfield for the hay rides for their Halloween party!
