Just as we protect our cranberry bogs from spring and autumn frost, these summer heat waves require just as much care. ☀️💦

During extreme heat, the sprinklers keep the vines cool and hydrated, protecting the crop through the hottest days of the season. 🥵

It’s a good reminder for all of us, too—hydrate often, replace your electrolytes, seek out air conditioning when you can, avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day, and don’t forget to check on our elderly neighbors and our furry friends.

The bogs need water to thrive… and so do we. ❤️🌿
