This Friday, June 19, we’re gathering at Oakley Farm to welcome the Summer Solstice and celebrate our seventh season of Foodlore Fridays at Oakley Farm.
Join us for an evening of live music from The Wilson Springs Hotel, a Virginia-born band blending folk, rock & roll, bluegrass, and classic country, along with sourdough pizza and seasonal sides from Penny’s Imperfect Pizza and Troddenvale cider.
The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year—a time to gather, linger a little longer, and enjoy the abundance of early summer. We’re looking forward to sharing an evening of good food, live music, and community on the farm as we celebrate this seasonal milestone together.
In addition to our cider and wine offerings, we’re excited to be pouring beer from Selvedge Brewing Selvedge Brewing in the North Stable all weekend long, available Thursday through Saturday.
Bring a blanket or camp chair, grab a drink, and settle in before the music begins at 6 PM.
This Friday’s event is free and open to the public thanks to the generous support of the Virginia Hot Springs Preservation Trust, whose sponsorship helps us bring free live music to the farm throughout the summer.
We look forward to having you here!
