🩸❤️ September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month ❤️🩸
This month is especially personal to me.
Some of you who have supported Krazy Pops know that behind the popcorn, the farmers markets, the new flavors, and the smiling face at the table, I am also currently battling T-Cell Lymphoma, a form of blood cancer.
This journey has given me an entirely different appreciation for the doctors, nurses, researchers, scientists, patients, families, and organizations who continue working every single day to improve cancer treatment and find better options for people like me.
Cancer research is constantly evolving, and I am incredibly grateful for everyone who has dedicated their lives to advancing it. Treatments available today exist because someone researched, studied, tested, advocated, donated, participated in clinical trials, and refused to stop searching for better answers.
Research isn't just something happening in a laboratory somewhere. For cancer patients, research means hope. It means more treatment options. It means more time. And sometimes, it means another chance at life.
So during Blood Cancer Awareness Month, I encourage everyone to learn a little more about blood cancers, support cancer research when you can, check on the people in your life who may be fighting quietly, and never underestimate how much a kind word or little bit of encouragement can mean.
And to everyone who has continued supporting me and Krazy Pops throughout my journey — whether you've purchased a bag of popcorn, shared a post, said a prayer, sent an encouraging message, or simply asked how I was doing — thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
I am still fighting. I am still believing. And I am incredibly thankful for the research that continues opening doors for cancer patients everywhere.
